Terence is Lazy

Haha... I have been lazying around eversince after my december papers... I dun even feel like blogging... haha...

Well, I have officially graduated from NUS!!! Yea!!! Passed all modules and even got a very good and unexpected grade for my so call Final Year Project. Really very happy that my team acheived grade A. Trust me, the journey to an A was really not easy. It is so tough not only on the technical side, but also the coordination within the team and the understandings from one another. Ok... I am a bit fake here... for those who know will know what I am trying to say ya... haha...

Still remember at the very last and critical stage of my project time, my team and I really almost everyday stayed overnight in school... or rather, worked overnight with very little sleep... that time, 3 of us still had a test to go for... and eventually we failed the test quite badly because we had no time to study... we were so focused on the project as we were afraid we couldn't finish the testing in time... those were the days man! Thank you for those who were with me all the way... despite of my lack of knowledge and stubbornness, you had shown patience, closed guidiance and understanding... Thank you!

As for the exams... the most tough and scary paper of all was the probability paper... really very tough and totally no idea what is going on with the paper... Every questions I did was half done... and thats the point when I wondered will I ever graduate this sem? Luckily I did... haha... Heng ah...

Immediately after the papers, I went to japan again! Yea... winter japan... But my first trip I met a very unfriendly tour guide... she was a tom boy and many of the professionals in the field had commented about her... During some occasions, I almost wanted to give her a tight slap man! 3 days later after I came back to Singapore, I flew there again... hee... this time round the tour guide was a good one... I would ranked him the second best from all the tour guides I had ever met. But this second trip was a very sad one for me... coz I fell sick on day 3... Very bad flu and weak body... Couldn't sleep at night and no medicine for 2 days... Eventually I bought some medicine which cost me ard 20 sing! I feel very ex la... but no choice.. still have to buy and eat... hoping that I will get better... but it din!!! Still as sick as before... and this time round, I got myself those masks to cover my mouth.. dun wanna spread my powderful virus to everyone on the bus... Another dissapointment was that on the last nite, we stayed in this hotel located at Shinjuku! The most happening shopping and nite life area in Tokyo! But I got no mood and no strenght to explore the place... too sick to walk around... So sad.. haiz...

During my exam and the in between my japan trips... I went for 2 interviews... one with Creative and another with Singtel... I think Singtel really need people le... coz I did not prepare for the interview at all but still able to get in.. hee... so now I am working in Singtel! haha... as System Analyst... Welcome to the 8 to 5 working world man! Tell you... I really hate this kind of 8 to 5 working life... haha... perhaps I need some time to adjust to it ba... Now I got nothing to do in the office... everyday read some documents which make no sense to me at all... not that I dun want to find out what is it... but is abt the business logic of the projects... then I will not be able to understand unless someone explain it to me... So now just have to wait for my boss and peer to be more free.. then they can explain it to me... Anyway this singtel offer is a one yr contract... I may have other plans other than this singtel job... we shall see ya! haha... I am a troublesome and frequent minded person... hee

Think thats all for now... will post more stuff about my work and my collegues when got time ya... :)

Hmm... below are some pic I took when we were rushing for my project deadlines and also pic I took in Japan... enjoy!

Recent Updates

Have not being blogging for quite some time. And I know that the "loosing ends" spelling mistake.. lol... thanks for those who constantly remind me about it.

Helene and her family
A few days back, Helene and her family web cam with me from Strasbourg, France. That was so damn happening manz! The sad thing was that I do not have a web cam, therefore I can only see them and they can't see me. Think I gonna get one soon... How I wish I can visit them some day in the near future... Hmmm.. must plan to make it happen! Perhaps a backpack kind? haha... anyone wants to go?

Test and Proj
Last 2 weeks were damn terrible! Probability test almost drove me crazy! Now still dunno the result yet. Then right after the test, stayed for 2 nights with my project mates to finish up the first system release! We then went for the presentation with no sleep at all! So damn shag and "blank" at that time. And wanna thanks to those who had helped though these difficult times... yuhua... and some of my proj mates... not all... :X

Dance
Finally, went to studio wu for my first dance class! haha.. after so long of saying wanting to go... I bought the package and thus will go more frequently.. hopefully I can manage my time better.

New Car
My uncle/god grandfather has changed a new car... Nissan Sunny... I think he really like Nissan... ha.. coz the previous one was the same brand but different model for this new car. The car is quite nice and I hope I can use more often before I get myself mine! hee... Hope that it wouldn't be too long from now.

Cousin's wedding
My cousin is getting married this coming friday... And I will be his brother le... So far the clothes I have already prepared... and nothing else i think... this thursday will go for a meeting with him... see what is my jobscope like. Becoz of this, I will be missing a day lesson on friday.. haiz.. I have been skipping lessons for these few days... coz too much work to be done!

Thats all for now... take care my friends!

Loosing end

I had many bad days and experiences lately... so bad that I am thinking whether I am loosing all my friends and myself... I have not been contacting many of my friends for soooo long... Isolating myself in projects and study... I am so sick of my life right now!

Since this my blog is not private... I shall not mention in specific... I have been trying hard to find the way back. There are these thoughts and feelings which I think are not healthy at all.. thinking there is still a long way to go, it is really hard to survive through... Some of the ways I tried are to be Mr nice guy... tyring to help this and that... At times I will try to be a joker... create jokes and laughter... In return... I was treated like an idiot with zero intelligence kind. Haiz... I think I just have to bare with it man...

For friends out there... pls dun forget me and pls pardon me for not hanging out with you for so long... And lets remember this... dun take your friends for granted... if they are true to you... pls make it better in return. Though it is easy to be said than done... lets put that extra effort in doing so...

CS3214 Project + JJ mini concert

Stress + Heavy workload + Long hours = ???

Hope that the result will be a positive one. Really spent alot of time discussing the project and finally a proper design is done. Hope that this design can bring us through well for the implementation part. If not, it will be damn messy and complicated to solve future unforseen problems.

For now... hope that can last thru this last sem... this sem is like projects, projects and projects... Luckily I have yuhua to help me in one of my subject... if not I die! Thanks gal!

Went to JJ's mini concert for the Children Cancer Foundation at St James on last Sat. Pretty fun. I was there as an usher. Met many new friends and at the same time, got many free sample from Kiehl's product. Heard that this brand facial product is damn good and effective. So happy that can get some sample... perhaps is time to change a new brand...

What does SIA wants from a cabin crew?

9am - woke up
10.30am - reached swissotel for SIA cabin crew interview
11.15am - interview started
11.30am - "sorry, you are not shortlisted!"

haiz... dunno wat does SIA wants from a cabin crew... wat exactly are they looking for? Anyway I have learnt some lessons from this round and hope that I can correct all the mistakes I made before the next try.

Anyway, just wanna share some jokes I had while having the interview. This was a group interview, consisting of 9 interviewee and 2 interviewer. I was the second to be interviewed... and after my self-intro, I sat down and almost laugh out... haha... one of the interviewee instead of introducing himself as a out-going person, he told everyone he is a party-goer! lol... tell the panel this for wat sia... another one said he now then come to apply for cabin crew was because a few years back his mother disallowed him to work as a cabin crew... erm... what does it got to link with the interview man... then the same person said his hobby was.... just like the usual people staying in singapore loh... those usual hobbies... haha... erm... then must as well dun say rite... lolz. Erm... most of the interviewee dressed appropriately... execpt one guy wore a bright blue belt lo! Must be Gay lo! haha... Then the ladies hoh... most are ok with their dressing... but a few dressed machaim they are ready to go to clubbing right after the interview... lol.. bare back... those thick belt worn just below the breasts kind. Then got a few wore short skirts... haiz... wat are they thinking man...

Anyway... I was rather sad la... coz waste my time and effort but no gain in the end. So next time, I must be more than prepared for it. I think I need to cut my hair to those cabin crew standard before going for the next round. Oh ya... they are definately not recruiting ppl with looks. Thats for damn sure. Coz the only 2 out of 9 in my group who were shortlisted, are not good looking at all.

The saying goes... "Do you have what it takes?" lolz

My friends from france!

Yea... I have friends who are the residents of france... I knew this group of friendly and nice people when I was in Japan! They are a family consisting of MR Gerald, Ms Helene and their 3 daughters! They actually migrated from vietnam to France and decided to stay put down there!

We still keep in contact and I am really happy about it... haha... dunno why also.. very excited to have overseas friends, esp from European country. Next time when I go France I can go and visit them! haha.. so fun... but dunno when la...

Promised them I will post an entry for them... here you go...

I can still remember that their camera was the same model as mine, canon ixus 65. And while we were at one of the visitor spot, their camera went flat. So I helped them to take a few shots!

This is their house... very big rite...

It is really very nice when people can still remember you as a friend, even though we just knew each other for seven days. *touched* :)

All the best Mr Gerald and Ms Helene! Wish your family always happy and safe! Take care and hope to see all of you once again in the near future!
