What does SIA wants from a cabin crew?

9am - woke up
10.30am - reached swissotel for SIA cabin crew interview
11.15am - interview started
11.30am - "sorry, you are not shortlisted!"

haiz... dunno wat does SIA wants from a cabin crew... wat exactly are they looking for? Anyway I have learnt some lessons from this round and hope that I can correct all the mistakes I made before the next try.

Anyway, just wanna share some jokes I had while having the interview. This was a group interview, consisting of 9 interviewee and 2 interviewer. I was the second to be interviewed... and after my self-intro, I sat down and almost laugh out... haha... one of the interviewee instead of introducing himself as a out-going person, he told everyone he is a party-goer! lol... tell the panel this for wat sia... another one said he now then come to apply for cabin crew was because a few years back his mother disallowed him to work as a cabin crew... erm... what does it got to link with the interview man... then the same person said his hobby was.... just like the usual people staying in singapore loh... those usual hobbies... haha... erm... then must as well dun say rite... lolz. Erm... most of the interviewee dressed appropriately... execpt one guy wore a bright blue belt lo! Must be Gay lo! haha... Then the ladies hoh... most are ok with their dressing... but a few dressed machaim they are ready to go to clubbing right after the interview... lol.. bare back... those thick belt worn just below the breasts kind. Then got a few wore short skirts... haiz... wat are they thinking man...

Anyway... I was rather sad la... coz waste my time and effort but no gain in the end. So next time, I must be more than prepared for it. I think I need to cut my hair to those cabin crew standard before going for the next round. Oh ya... they are definately not recruiting ppl with looks. Thats for damn sure. Coz the only 2 out of 9 in my group who were shortlisted, are not good looking at all.

The saying goes... "Do you have what it takes?" lolz

My friends from france!

Yea... I have friends who are the residents of france... I knew this group of friendly and nice people when I was in Japan! They are a family consisting of MR Gerald, Ms Helene and their 3 daughters! They actually migrated from vietnam to France and decided to stay put down there!

We still keep in contact and I am really happy about it... haha... dunno why also.. very excited to have overseas friends, esp from European country. Next time when I go France I can go and visit them! haha.. so fun... but dunno when la...

Promised them I will post an entry for them... here you go...

I can still remember that their camera was the same model as mine, canon ixus 65. And while we were at one of the visitor spot, their camera went flat. So I helped them to take a few shots!

This is their house... very big rite...

It is really very nice when people can still remember you as a friend, even though we just knew each other for seven days. *touched* :)

All the best Mr Gerald and Ms Helene! Wish your family always happy and safe! Take care and hope to see all of you once again in the near future!

Hong Kong

I know is abit late to post for my HK trip. These few days were rather busy with little little stuff and now then got some time to tidy up my unpacked luggage. Then I realised I really bought alot of stuff! haha... damn many sia... I bought like 9 t-shirts/polo T, 3 shirts, 2 jackets, 5 pants/cargo pants, 1 brief, 5 wrist bands, 3 fedora/hat, 1 bag and 3 pairs of shoes!!! Haha... A lot rite... cannot believe it man...

My HK-conquered items.

And I know that for the next few months... I'm not gonna spend money on shopping liao (can I? haha). And I really need to start budgeting my expenses... coz the nus financial aid is not going to give me any money this sem... sobz... Im so poor (ppl out there is gonna kill me for saying Im poor)... haha...

TYPHOON NO. 8
Haiz... it seems like the typhoon is following me from japan to Hong Kong... haha... keep chasing after me... when the typhoon no. 8 is declared nation wide, all the shops closed! We almost gone crazy lo. coz that time was around 3pm and we went to a shopping mall full of branded factory outlets, and we were like cover addidas only lo! Really almost gone crazy... I was so shocked that I stunned for some time... SO next we went to the supermarket and start buying cup noodles, banana, grape, vitagen, soya bean milk and etc. This was to prepare for possible starvation at nite as we were afraid that the food stalls will be closed too. My Bond59 can never go hungry one k... if not everyone will become crazy! haha... must keep feeding ourselves with food one... BTW, we did not experience the strong wind or chaos along the streets... coz I think we were some how blessed... we saw the train stations were packed with people rushing home and also saw people trying to hold on to their umbrella (eh eh eh under my umbrella... haha) while braving throught the strong wind and rain. We were like happily took the train and then reached out hotel safely. This typhoon was a unexpected one coz this one actually made a U-turn back to HK area. This had never happened for like many many yrs... then HK also long time never experienced a hoist of no. 8 for many many yrs.

We are so kiasu, bought so many stuff from the supermarker... very kua zhang rite... haha

Even the bakery shop was swept empty!

All right... here comes the food I had in Hong Kong... My favourites... KFC Egg Tart, Char siew, mango desert from Xu Liu Shan! We almost everyday pia to Xu Liu Shan for the mango desert lo! Damn nice ok.

A power combo of all the nice pics with my B59!

This pic is really very mood hoh... everything moves except us... This can really describe the fast rapid Hong Kong lifestyle...

Ending... starting...

Can u guess what is going to end and start at the same time?

....
....

My holiday is going to end... and my last sem is going to start soon...

At this point of time... I really miss those days that BBC and I spent in Taipei.. shop shop shop and eat eat eat... so fun and relac... And also Japan... so fun! I have learnt many nice things abt japanese and also their patience over little little things... these exercising of patience can really help me to look things in another perspective and learnt to appreciate more... hopefully... haha... And also phuket! The food posioning incident and the fun there with my cousin... my cousin and I can really entertain ourselves man... haha... So much fun!

As my Hong Kong trip, which is on this coming wed, is drawing nearer and nearer, I am getting excited and happy! This time round I not going with my passengers, not BBC, not my cousin, but Bond59! Though Kelvin will not be going with us due to his busy schedule, we will still think about him when we are there.

These few days I have been busy going to my friends' bday party, busking practices, gym (though still.. haiz... dun mention) and final yr project workshop.

Let me first toke abt Eleen's bday... I must say her bday was a great success. Coz I can see everyone enjoyed himself very much. Though she kept telling us that her other friends are rather quiet type, but when it comes to games... her frens were really sporty and fun! And I think Eleen had enjoyed herself very much and loved her presents!!! This is the first time I see a bday gal received so many vouchers from so many shops and restaurants. Ha... actually wanted to ask her to share with us... but she must be very fishmongor and use them all for herself! Maybe her bf will not benefit from it also.. haha... joking ah... Anyway in her bday... many of us discovered many new things and then we started bitching others haha... so long nv lepak like that liao... lets do it again when is matt's bday k. its 24 Aug! (Not his bday la... just that his bday celebration is delayed as all of us are too busy! haha... actual bday: 10 Aug). Anyway _ _ _ _ _ _ _ let grace know liao... for those who are not updated... haha... I was shocked when the decision was made... haha so sudden! Then I also kanna many embrassing situations... esp the intro one.. damn pai sei... haha... will keep contact... haha... JIAN... scolding myself...

As for my busking practices... I enjoyed myself coz Candy's chero is really very nice... I would say very her lo... haha... but really very nice and cool! Very technique! gd! I will definately try my best and hope that on the actual day dun forget steps... Stress! for the time being...

Gym! haiz... i think I ate too much la... no effect and my tummy simply getting worst... haha... nvm... after hong kong then carry on work on it... haha.. everytime say that!!! so sick of myself! haha... cannot make it.

FYP workshop... this workshop is supposed to be a preperation thingy before the sem commenced. For now, rather stressed by the amount of things to learn by ourselves and the marathon against time to complete the project... a bit overstress. But I think this stress is rather a good one... coz it actually will determine how much effort and worries I am going to put in for this project when I am back from HK.

Eleen and those who have the photos for eleen's bday.. pls send them to me!!! XIE XIE!

Hope that this HK trip will be as fun as Europe or even better... and hope that my FYP will not kill me... see ya!
